Awesome retro feel in both gameplay and style. Sort of like one of those old life sims. Bottom line, worth logging in to vote on.
Not to come off like a jerk or anything, but this game is basically the most boring type of Zelda puzzle over and over again. Maybe some people like that, but it's so dull to me. Oh, and your character doesn't move nearly fast enough.
This is an excellent game. Just hard enough for it to be entertaining without being infuriating. The artwork was unique and fluid. I'd say this stands up to any other game in the genre. Some people didn't enjoy the controls but I loved them. I'm sort of tired with the heavy focus on mouse controls in flash recently. I just wish it was longer.
I am intensely interested in this game. Unfortunately I could not make it past the third door. I got stuck at a point where I went up some sort of super jump thing and ended up on a ledge with a red button next to me. I jumped off and just fell forever. I tried a couple times. I would love to see a cleaned up edition.
I'll make it.
I think that the game shows promise. I would say that it starts to quickly and at far to high a pace. You need to ease into these kinds of games, get your flow going. You can't just be expected to instantly respond to a screen full of tanks. Or maybe you just own all over space invaders and maybe these games just aren't my speed.
I wasn't really into the way this game handled. For a shooting game it was far too sluggish and I often found that my shots wouldn't hit target. I'd lead a bit to make sure I wasn't fall just behind them, I'd shoot right at them, nothing really worked. I think it would go without saying that in a shooting game, if the shooting doesn't work, it's kind of a bust.
well it doesn't work. what was your grade?
mine was the best in my class buddy :P
keep at it
You know, you're clearly starting out, so keep at it. Don't be discouraged if you get blammed. Your animation isn't newgrounds material, but nobodies early work is.
The adventure element made this one better than the first, but I must say that I really enjoy the option of skipping long animated sections of games. After the first time through, they're just really irritating.
I thought the game was pretty sweet, but I obviously stopped playing it when the demo ended. We all have to make a living, but I'm not going to some other site where I have to replay what I've played.
